Water plays a big part here at Lake Vyrnwy. The lake has been fished for over 100 years, and is stocked with trout, making it the largest wild trout fishery in England and Wales. You can also enjoy the beauty of the lake while taking part in one of the many water-sports that are available from Bethania Adventure.
Fishing at Lake Vyrnwy is part of the wider sporting estate operated by the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel. Managed by the estate team, fishing is fly only from a boat. Day tickets and inclusive fishing breaks can be booked through the hotel reception.
The fishing season runs from Mid-March through to Mid-October
