Elegant food celebrating fresh local produce.
The finest North Wales and the borders could offer.
In Wales there is a strong tradition of living off the land and with the landscape reflecting freshness, quality and variety combined with its reputation for producing some of the finest ingredients it is easy to see why.
Here at Lake Vyrnwy we embrace the seasons and the produce of Wales and the Borders in our cooking. We work with some of the best producers in the country and the menus reflect the time of year and change seasonally.
The lounge menu is designed to tempt you with delicious lunchtime snacks.
Lake Vyrnwy’s famous afternoon teas are extravagantly indulgent and cry out for a glass of champagne to make the treat complete.
The award-winning Tower Restaurant offers one of the North Wales’ best dining experiences with superb views to boot. The three course menu is designed to deliver the “full Vyrnwy experience” and showcases the finest local produce including melt in the mouth Welsh lamb.
The Tavern Brasserie is less formal but equally spectacular – both in terms of the food and the views. Serving gastro-pub classics (for want of a better description) it’s the perfect place to refuel after a morning exploring the Welsh hills.
Lake Vyrnwy even has its very own pub – The Last Grouse is the place where “locals” as well as Hotel guests enjoy real ale.
