Style/Theme of Wedding: Classic and simple

Colour scheme: Charcoal grey, dusky pink, whites and ivories

Number of guests: 130 guests day and night

Ceremony / Reception: Wintergreen Suite

Food: Canapés followed by a variation of the "Snowdon" menu.

Canapés: Breadcrumbed confit of Welsh lamb with tomato relish; Prawn & wasabi mayonaise tartlets; Bruschetta of vine tomato, basil & buffalo mozarella; Savoury Welsh cakes with olive tapenade & goats cheese.  

Wedding Breakfast Menu: 

Taster of leek and pancetta soup / Taster of Leek & Potato (V)

Starters: Oven baked venison wellington, apple puree and a juniper jus / Per Las panna cotta, caramelised pears, walnuts and a port reduction (V)

Champagne Sorbet / Non-alcoholic Sorbet

Main course: Free range corn fed chicken supreme, Portobello mushrooms and a tarragon velouté / Handmade vegetable tortellini with cream basil sauce & crispy leeks (V)

Dessert: White chocolate cheesecake, macerated strawberries and crackle crystals

Evening Food: Hog Roast

"We truly had the best day of our lives, even some of our guests said it was the best day of their lives too! Throughout the whole process, from booking and arranging the day with Kerry to Sue managing the day impeccably, Lake Vyrnwy exceeded our expectations in every way. Both the food and the service was exemplary throughout, we were made to feel at ease in our surroundings and were truly looked after for the duration of our stay. Catering for 130+ people is no easy feat but the hotel's staff managed it effortlessly with no compromise on quality.  Lake Vyrnwy now have customers for life and we shall be returning every year for our anniversary, to see staff that are now friends and remember our fondest memory.  A special thank you to Kerry and Sue for all their hard work and love they put into our day."
